You may be aware that the Club is planning a major update of its galley facilities. This has been some months in the planning, and has now been scheduled to start on Monday 14 February, with completion (we hope) enabling us to reopen on Friday 18 March for a celebratory Fish & Chip supper. This will mean that all regular club functions (Fish Night and Sunday Carvery) will be suspended while the work is ongoing.
Just about all of the equipment will be replaced, most having seen sterling service over the last 20 years. The extraction system is being brought up to current requirements, and the floor, walls, and ceiling will all be replaced or re-clad.
