Planning application would affect Rock Road users

You may want to know about, and react to, the planning application detailed in the attached flier that would have a very significant impact on Rock Road traffic.”

OBJECTION REASONS:

  1. ROCK ROAD IS TOO BUSY TO BE REDUCED TO SINGLE FILE TRAFFIC, DOING SO WOULD CREATE EVEN MORE CONGESTION AND WOULD MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT FOR BOATS, TRACTORS AND LARGE VEHICLES TO PASS

  1. THE DEVELOPMENT OF 45 HOUSES IS COMPLETELY OUT OF PROPORTION TO THE HOUSING REQUIRMENTS OF A RURAL VILLAGE LOCATION SUCH AS PITYME/ROCK

  1. TREWISTON LANE IS ALREADY DANGEROUS FOR PEDESTRIANS. A HOUSING DEVELOPMENT THAT CREATES FURTHER PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC ON TREWISTON LANE IS LIKELY TO LEAD TO FURTHER SERIOUS ACCIDENTS
