The sailing committee have set a date aside over the Easter break to run an informal VHF / SRC familiarisation session, the idea is to run through some of the basic controls, basic voice call protocol and maybe have a go doing some calls depending on time, and a question and answer session.

Mark Stacey will be running the session. He is a VHF / SRC trainer / assessor.7
It will be on the 3rd April at 6pm in the club, and attendees can bring their own sets if they wish.

Also more information will be provided on how to gain a licence if required.

This session is for anyone, especially those with sets who are not quite sure what they are doing!
