Club re-opening status update

We are all set to reopen this Monday, 6th July, though as you might have expected, things will be a little different this year. Opening times will be published soon, and available on the website here.

We have a smaller team, and a more compact menu which will be displayed on the blackboard – there will be no paper menus.

We will be making the most of our big space on the quay, with more tables and chairs, and initially until we see how things develop, a table service allowing for relaxed eating and drinking at a social distance. Only those members ordering food to eat in will be allowed to sit at the tables.

Members are asked to respect the staff and not insist on contravening social distancing guidelines.

We will not be taking any bookings but in the first instance we will be allowing members only (strictly no guests), so do not forget your yellow card (if you are a new member and haven’t collected one yet, just ask). All tables are on a first-come, first-served basis.

We politely ask that all customers take a seat where directed. Table service will be used to keep distancing issues at bay. If there is not a table available, please come back later. Please keep children and pets from wandering.

Picking up a Takeaway? Please order it from the quay staff and wait outside the seated area. Then either take it home or find a space on the beach. Our outside seating is for table service only.

We hope soon to be offering a limited number of tables inside for table service but again these will not be reservable – they will be on a first-come first-served basis. The balconies will not be available for now.

Please note -card payments only

Toilet facilities will be limited at first to the disabled WC only. Please wait outside the club until it becomes vacant. There will be automatic contactless hand sanitiser dispensers at each of the 3 club entrances.

In order to remain compliant with current distancing guidelines the slipway access from Porthilly Beach has been closed.
