Just a final posting on the progress of the “rowers”. They have arrived !…….safe and sound, Thursday night, not in Cork as was intended but where the wind, waves and currents took them fastest, which was to Kilmore Quay, nearer to Rosslare, but Ireland anyway ☘️. Apparently the waves were ENORMOUS !    Thank you again...

The light winds have favoured some good water but we could do with less north westerlies for the best conditions. Those who have ventured out at lower tides will have noticed that the sandbanks have changed considerably...

New Ski Raft on station!

This is taken from the all new, bright and shiny ski raft being towed out to its permanent mooring. Among other things it has solar powered night-time-actuated navigation lights, so don’t use them as coat hooks or they will think it’s night and eat up battery power. Sailing Committee nominations

The club AGM is on the horizon (10 August) and the Sailing Committee is in need of new and younger blood. You don’t have to be local. You don’t have to sail a Shrimper (in fact more variety would be good). You don’t even have to be male. Get a proposer and seconder, and sign...
